Children's Code Rewrite Gains Commitments from Governor Deal and Senate and House Leadership

Governor Deal and Senate and House leadership have committed to move forward the Children’s Code Rewrite (SB 127) in 2012. Sponsored by Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Bill Hamrick (District 30), and co-sponsored by several Senators from both parties, the bill is a sweeping revision of Georgia’s 40-year-old juvenile law.
