Children's Code Rewrite Bill Reintroduced!
SB 127, The Child Protection and Public Safety Act was reintroduced on February 23, 2011.
SB 127 (formerly SB 292) was reintroduced on February 23rd by Senator Bill Hamrick (District 30) along with 43 co-sponsors from both sides of the aisle.
The bill is assigned to the Senate Judiciary Committee and public hearings will continue on the bill. The first hearing held since the bill was dropped was held on Monday, February 28th.
